Quiet, peaceful, luxurious yet only minutes from all the action of this lifestyle packed area - you choose. Sun-seekers - miles of beach. Find a shady spot, use the Beach Club Marbella (formerly Nikki Beach), which is next to the fourth green on the golf course or walk along the sand to Marbella Marina where the restaurants are frequented by locals and visitors alike. (Nikki Beach Club can be found in St. Barts, South Beach Miami, St. Tropez and now on the Marbella east beach!). Golfers paradise - just a few hundred yards to the clubhouse of one of the oldest courses of Costa del Golf and the closest to Marbella.
Rio Real Golf Club is spectacular and now has it's own boutique five star Rio Real Hotel. Best food, service and setting on the Costa (main course €20 & affordable vino). There are a multitude of places to eat from inexpensive "churingitos" (beach bars) to medium cost restaurants and Spanish Inns (15 minutes into the hills for "Andalucia on a plate").
1 Hour to Gibraltar and only 30 minutes to Malaga where the old town is an often overlooked gem (Visit the Pablo Picasso Museum).
2 hours to Granada and the unforgettable Alhambra but do either arrive early or book a ticket.
